Another dominant performance from the Mighty Eg’s!
QMC have got to be the nicest team in the league both on and off the pitch, play fair play hard and at times knocked the ball about quite well. Still it was not enough to complete with our full squad we started with the normal pass opening them up quickly and Rhys hit a great shot that just pinged off the crossbar. We controlled the game and it was taking too long to find the opener, eventually a great cross from Chris was put away by the Strong Mike Hand who was bullying the QMC defence all day. The rest of the half was shot after shot and started to feel a bit like a training session, all be it one where we could not find the net!
Second half we came out fired up as did QMC and when they started to venture out of their box we very quickly capitalised starting with a tap it from Sonny after a corner and then a great shot from Rhys pinged again off the bar but this time fell to his brother Joe who slotted it home. Another goal mouth scramble left to Joe having his second and our 4th and QMC started to back off worrying a goal frenzy!
Great performance from the lads and we now travel to Fairlop next week to meet QMC on their ground, where I expect more goals.
