Egbertians scored immediately from the opposition taken centre, a tackle followed by a through ball by D Baldwin, allowed A Kennedy to place the ball in the side netting. Later in the first half a rash challenge on D Baldwin allowed C Holland to score from the spot. Whilst cruising Egbertians let in a soft first with the last kick of the first period.
Early in the second period Egbertians were unable to deal with a loose ball in its box and Wood Green equalised. However, Egbertians was able to take a deserved victory with a header by C Holland from a corner.
