Another bad day at the office. Injuries and availability issues hampered us again. This week we drafted in 4 players (Mates). Very even game with very little goal threat from both sides. Referee blew for offside too often in the oppo's favour. The one time he did not their keeper made a good save with his feet.
We started dominating the play at the start of the 2nd half and came close on a couple more occasions with their keeper saving well. Then injuries took their toll on our shape and rhythm. We lost 3 lads in the space of 15 mins. Coupled with my injury after 25mins meant that we went down to 10 men. We then had another lad pull up and who operated for the remaining 15 minutes of the match at a limping pace. The oppo capitalised on this and scored two goals (the opener took a deflection) in the last 10 minutes.
Cant fault the lads for commitment. With a patched up side we still had the better of exchanges until injuries de-railed us. Back to the 'drawing board' for next week.
