Egs dominated the first half and took an early lead following a scramble in the oppostion box through Riccardo Deiana. Despite dominating the half Egs were unable to extend the lead. In the second half Alexandra Palace placed significant pressure on Egs goal and despite committed backs to the wall defending and some decent saves by Jamies a defensive error allowed an equialiser. However, shortly after Adam Goulding playing a cross into the box which sailed over the keeper into the net. Alexandra Palace had a couple of late chances to take it to extra time but Egs held on to win.
