Good Performance by Egbertian 4ths but not the result they deserved. Kingsburians went ahead early in the first half following a corner and it stayed that way till the break. The second half then brought a second goal direct from a well struck free kick to make it 2-0 to the visitors. Egbertians then poured forward to try and rescue the game and pulled one back with 5 minutes remaining when Baldwin volleyed a Hyde cross into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. In time added on Egs had the chànce to bring the scores level but the visitors keeper blocked a header on the line and secured all 3 points for Kingsburians.
