Egs really held the run of play in the first half, keeping play in the bucks half for the first 25 mins and should off got on the score sheet several times with Bowie and Paul both missing opportunities.New lads James and Daryll both showed real promise. With Nick taking Man of the match for non stop effort. Ref made some arguable calls for both teams during game. A heavy Late challenge on Paul 10 mins before half time wasn't given and the lads frustration caused a lapse of concentration which lead to the only goal in the game to be conceded.
Second half Egs did not perform as well and failed to pressure. Some short spells of possession but again composure and first touches were poorer. Chris came on for the last 5 ins and was yellow carded.
Egs were the better side and we should of put the game to bed by the end of the first half, but a lesson to be learnt, when you don't take the chances.
