3rd Team 2 - 6 Magadalians

A real lost opportunity, to end this year on a positive note. Probably had a slightly more balance team than in the previous games, albeit defense still a work in progress and patched up, with Abdul sitting in LB and New player Liam in the CB, alongside Henry. The first 45 started off shakily and unsure. Egs sat to deep and ended up soaking up the pressure well initially but lacked the confidence to get ourselves into stride and created few proper chances. Henry came off just 20 i with his hamstring again. After which defensive errors, lead to a two goal deficit by the end of the first half. The second half started a lot more positively for Egs, with better play overall, but still lacking the zest and confidence to finish our attacking movement. The majority of the second half was played out in Magdalenians half, were they were comfortable to sit and hold on to the lead. Egs Mids pushed hard in attack, but did not track back quick enough, leading to other goals. John Ngyuen scored two debut goals for the club and was awarded man of the match. A disappointing league position for us to end the year on, even with injuries holding back the team, we have only ourselves to blame. Todays game displayed the best and worst of the team. A strong will to play to the end, but a lack of doing the simple basic right.Roll on 2015
