No keeper this week so i stood in. A game we should of definitely done better at. Apart from the first 20 minutes where we held the game in balance, we failed to show up. Lacked real passion to do anything with the ball. Failing to close down their mids and not challenging for the ball.
Two goal keeping errors by myself left the first half 2-0. The second half was played part like a training game and the rest like junior school football, bittely disappointing. There was some hearty played by a few of the team , Liam especially, who battled well throughout. New players George, James and Neil did well although team adjustment and fitness is required.My post dressing room talk was not a pleasant one and I hope the lads realise sub standard efforts will not change on their own.
