A score line not uncommon for us this season unfortunately. However, i am pleased to say, not a true reflection of the competitiveness of the game. Somerville deserve to be where they are, they are well rounded and fairly solid across all areas of their game, including when to give away a foul.
Egs first 15 - 20 mins saw us go 3 -0 down, as we weren't quick enough to settle. After that the team played throughout, and chased every ball and attacked every play, which was a million miles away from last weeks abysmal performance. New additions Brian, George and Andrei played very well. Jahirs brother Shah kept us breathing with some fine goal keeping. Egs were well beaten ultimately, but we competed to the end and as with most of this season confidence in the final 3rd was missing. So a lot of hard work was fruitless. Morale is still high and fingers crossed we have found a stable core to end the remaining games with and take into 2016 season.
