Champions, Champions, Champions, ole, ole, ole,

Well done to the lads for putting in a great performance against a young, skilful team. Heathens started on the attack and had us on the back foot for the first 10 minutes without forcing Eddy Tew to make a save. 15 minutes gone and the 1st goal was scored by our top scorer Jordan Morris who pounced liked a cobra to punish the keeper after he fumbled the ball from a shot by Matthew Withey. Confidence was starting to flow through the team and Andrew Bob Brown was pressing the midfielders like a man possessed. The defence lead by Dammy Oshodi was immense and restricted Heathen to zero shots in the 1st half.

We started the 2nd half by passing the ball in triangles and dominating possession with Vincent Ojo and Daniel Darby causing mayhem on the right hand side of the pitch. We managed to score our 2nd goal after brilliant work down the right hand side from Vincent Ojo who out muscled the left back to sprint in on goal and slide the ball pass the on rushing keeper.

We knew if we carried on the way we had played so far the title was our, everyone stood up to the challenge Charlie Hill and George Niyk played out of their skins. The game changed after Dammy ran with the ball from defence and was taken out by a nasty stud showing tackle by one of Heathens midfielders which resulted in a heated situation. The referee handled it well by sending of the midfielder and booking Dammy and Andrew because of their reaction. Heathen were desperate and fair play to them they caused us a few problems but Dammy kept there 29 goals striker in his pocket.

15 minutes to go playing against 10 men with a 2 goal lead what could go wrong, nothing we saw the game out to win the league.
