A great performance yesterday. Probably a better result than last week as we kept a clean sheet and had a smaller squad/bench too.
The game started disastrously with Egbertian's conceding a penalty inside the first 3 minutes of the game. James Hepworth saved the penalty and the two follow up shots #gamechangingmoment!!
We got our composure together and had a very steady half and kept possession well. Mike Ramsay got the first after turning and slotting home neatly from a throw in. Bobby Clarke popped up and scored a screamer from 30 yards which gave us the initiative in this encounter. We changed a few positions around in the second half as Brent started getting into the game. The changes made us more composed and solid again and we went on to manage the game well.
All in this was a good win against a decent side. Now we need to take cup form back into the league campaign.
