A Kent master class inspired Egbertian IV to a well deserved 3 points to take them joint second in the league. On a very blustery afternoon at Peter May WoodGreen started the brighter and went ahead with low shot from the edge of the box to make it 1-0. Egbertian slowly started to find their rhythm and Kent picked out Palmer with and Egguisite through ball and Palmer buried his chance to bring the scores level. Woodgreen went back ahead with dubious offside decision but the Egs did not dwell on that and Hyde put in a delightful cross that Kent volleyed into the top corner to make it 2-2. Woodgreen then shot themselves in the foot when their centre midfielder slapped Baldwin with a proper back of hand shot that saw at least 5 rolls and flips to ensure the ref was clearly saw there was a connection, and he duly saw red to make it 11 against 10. The second half saw The Egs eggxert their dominance and Kent's second smart finish of the game saw the Egs take the lead and lead 3-2. Credit to Wood Green they pushed Eggs all the way with Egbertian defending well and they finally put the gave to bed in the 89th minute when a Hyde corner dropped at Kents feet and he planted a right foot shot in the top right hand corner to cap his first Egs Hatrick!
