Egs put in a solid performance to take all 3 points. Goulding won and scored a penalty to make it 1-0. It soon became 2-0 when Mclean smashed his shot against the base of the post and Avery follwed up the rebound and made no mistake with the finish. The Egs weathered some pressure as Kent and Chinnery bossed the defence. The second half saw the Home side come out and take the game to Egbertians but that left space for Avery and Brooks who were causing havoc on the break, with Brooks making it 3-0 with a smart finish over the goalkeeper. Old Tollys did pull one back and kept coming forward but another break away saw Avery go through and dink it over the keeper and into the net to make it 4-1. Avery should of had a hatrick but Jug avoidance got the better of him and he shot wide to make sure he had enough money to get Parky off his back for another week.
