1st Team 1 - 1 Enfield Old Grammarians

A tough match and a great performance to complete our season.
With a few lads away we still manged to get a decent and balanced side out. This was needed as we were playing a strong Enfield Grammarians going for promotion.
As it turned out Enfield loaded up their team with some first teamers too as they desperately needed the 3 points.
Enfield started the stronger and went ahead after about 15 minutes. But after that Eggs got its rythym going and started stretching Enfield. We re-goruped at half time and decided not to change anything. Soon after the resumption we scored from a quick break which saw Antonio smash a shot home under the reach of Enfields giant of a keeper.
We didn't stop there and should have ran out convincing winners. What with some last ditch defending, blocks and saves from Enfields Keeper, we should have scored at least 3 more goals in a very dominate second half display.
This was a great performance and nice way to sign off the season campaign.
