4th Team 3 - 4 Old Edmontonians III

Bit of a mix match team due to a lot of people being away, started off well but fell behind 2-0 after one goal that should have seen an Edmontonians player booked for a push rather than a goal, we pulled one back before half time with another wonderful strike from Rhys.
The second half saw the Bertian boys not only pull it back to 2-2 but really put Edmontonians under pressure and given a bit of luck we could have taken the lead. But it was another dubious goals that put Edmontonians ahead when the right winger who was a good 10 yards offside pulled it back to an easy finish, Edmintonians hit us on the break against the run of play to make it 4-2 but we kept attacking and a great free kick from Harley pinged off the bar for Leon to tap in at close range.
We tried hard to make it 4-4 but Edmontonians were very lucky to keep us out and at 4-3, a draw would have seen them finish the league in second spot but was never enough to keep us in the league, but good to see some of the talent we have in the club to build on next year
