2nd Team 2 - 2 Latymer Old Boys

Was a decent performance on Saturday but again really should have been 3 points in the bag, Once again we controlled the game and had a lot more possession than the opposition but went behind to a route one goal. We didn't switch on to the fact that they had the wind in the second half and one long goal kick with the ball bouncing put our defence under pressure which resulted in a penalty and a fortunate yellow card for Paul. We Replied in excellent fashion with two well worked goals including a overhead kick from Mike Ramsey even though it looked like he just slipped over on his backside!
Once again though we failed to hold onto a lead, 2-1 up with 10 minutes to go and we were still going all out attack, this cost us when they counter attacked and even though the ball should have been cleared in the first place they got a lucky rebound and a deflected cross that went in. We then went to three at the back to try and win the game and although we did create a few chances people forgot the fact that they still needed to get back aswell. A few occasions they had 5 on 3 when they broke and should have done better with some of there chances. This is what it should of been like for us when we was 2-1 up, counter attacking them. In the end it ended up 2-2 and we have taken 4 points out of 6 from latymer which is good.
But we need to hold onto leads and stop dropping points.
