Egbertians were full of confidence having won last week and started brightly with some neat football and had a number of long range efforts to test the oppositions Goal Keeper. Egbertian then took the lead with some good link up play by Holland who put Baldwin in through on goal and he rolled it under the advancing keeper to make it 1-0 at the break. The second half saw London Hospital get back into the game but the Egberitian back 4 held strong with Manning winning everything against their main striker. Egbertians should have had a penalty when Holland was taken out in the area but the Referee remained motionless. 5 mins later Egbertians had another shout for a penalty when a cross shot from White struck their defenders hand and the referee gave a soft penalty (perhaps to even up the first one). Adam Goulding stepped up to make it 2-0 to Egberitans as he sent his shot into the bottom corner while sending the keeper the other way. With 15 minutes left White then played a great ball through to Holland who was left in space following a clever Baldwin run and he dinked it over the keeper to make it 3-0 and 3 points to Egbertians.
