5th Team 4 - 0 Old Ignations

A good first half performance which saw us lead 4-0 nil by half time. Dammy Oshodi started the scoring by sneaking in at the far post and stabbing the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0 with 25 minutes of the game gone. Matthew Witney then make it 2-0 after dancing past three defenders and calmly passing the ball past the keeper. The 3rd goal was the best of the bunch, it started from the back after Andy Dixon chested the ball down and dropped a shoulder to sprint (jog) pass the forward, the ball was pass amongst the back four until Daniel Darby (Right back) played a one – two with Sean Richards (Right attacking midfielder), Daniel managed to get on the end of Sean’s pass, bamboozled the left back with some neat foot work and whipped in beauty for Vincent Ojo to bury his header pass the keeper. Matt Witney scored the fourth with a nice volley from the edge of the box.
The 2nd half was a bit of a non-event fair play to Old Ignations who battle hard in the 2nd half and never let their heads drop.
