An easy win in the end.
With 4 debutants and a 2nd teamer we had the makeshift side.
But this did not come across and we started well and got into a good pattern of play. The first goal took 25 minutes to come but was well deserved.
Our final 3rd football was particularly good and we carved out many chances with the post being hit twice. The referee was a little generous with the off-sides he gave the opposition which also denied Egbertains about eight 1 on 1's.
Nick Aldridge from the 2nds bagged a brace along with Theo Stoica. The midfield kept to the game plan, worked well and did not loose their discipline, particularly as we changed formation and personel a few times during the game. Our defence was solid and organised and kept there shape this resulted in a clean sheet.
All in all a good run out and allowed the team to bed down further.
