Out of another cup. This one was a VFA cup match against Britannia who we have played before and are a good side. They got a dubious penalty which Flapper kept out with a spectacular save. We then got a penalty which we failed to convert. They went one nil up after one of our defenders passed it to their centre forward. We then missed a hatful of chances and went in one down at half time.
We came out strongly in the second half and equalised after 60 mins. The game finished one each and went to extra time. Two minutes after the restart they went ahead and then three one up after a corner went straight in from a corner with the assistance of a strong breeze. We then got one back but the game was finished when we got caught on the break seeking the equaliser.
